Website technology checker
Check the public technology signals behind a website
Paste a domain. WhosBuilt checks HTML, scripts, headers, DNS, SSL, registrar, and hosting clues in one report.
Try:
What this checks
- CMS, framework, analytics, and script fingerprints
- Hosting, CDN, DNS, SSL, registrar, and email clues
- Evidence labels so the result is easier to verify
How I treat the evidence
I only use public signals that a normal browser, DNS lookup, or certificate check can see.
A match is useful when there is evidence. A missing result usually means the site hides the signal or serves different code by region.
Is this a replacement for manual inspection?
It handles the first pass. I still check the evidence when the site uses a CDN, heavy JavaScript, or a locked-down frontend.
Can it see private backend code?
No. It reads public signals. It can infer likely providers and tools, but it does not access private source code or server config.
